1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
5 Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
6 Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
7 Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?
8 Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
9 Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!
10 Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.

Proverbs 14:12 tells us there is a way that is right to man, but in the end are the ways of death. And the ways of death may not be physical death, but death to life as we have known it, or a death to something we didn’t even regard that the way we chose-would also lead to an end.
משלי יד יב אומר לנו שיש דרך ישרה לאדם, אך בסופו של דבר הן דרכי המוות. ודרכי המוות אולי אינן מוות פיזי, אלא מוות לחיים כפי שהכרנו אותם, או מוות למשהו שלא ראינו כלל כדרך
שבחרנו בה תוביל גם לקץ.
You see beloveds, our minds will lead us to do things God advises us to avoid. And when we go down those roads- He uses a term called “Woe”. This term is God saying in essence, “Please don’t do this because it will bring sorrow and not my joy. Please don’t do this, for it is against My Word, and I will be provoked to act and fulfill the fruit of the action.”
משלי יד יב אומר לנו שיש דרך ישרה לאדם, אך בסופו של דבר הן דרכי המוות. ודרכי המוות אולי אינן מוות פיזי, אלא מוות לחיים כפי שהכרנו אותם, או מוות למשהו שאפילו לא חשבנו שהדרך שבחרנו בה תוביל גם היא לקץ. אהובים, אתם מבינים, דעותינו יובילו אותנו לעשות דברים שאלוהים מייעץ לנו להימנע מהם. וכשאנחנו הולכים בדרכים האלה - הוא משתמש במונח שנקרא "אוי". מונח זה הוא אלוהים שאומר במהותו, "אנא אל תעשו זאת כי זה יביא צער ולא שמחה. אנא אל תעשו זאת, כי זה נגד דברי, ואני אתגרה לפעול ולמלא את פרי המעשה".
God’s woe is a trumpet in itself saying-turn around, and don’t take this path. Why? We make decisions, but we forget God can come after our decisions, and make another decision. We learn this from the story of Haman and his hatred against God’s people. Haman made the decision to destroy all of the God’s people, and for a while it seemed God was going to let his decision go through. However, suddenly….there was a turn-around in the heavens. And Haman’s decision led to God’s woe in His life. So, we must consider today, Who are God’s people? And where are they located? Beloveds, they are everywhere so we must pray regarding our paths!
צער האל הוא כמו חצוצרה בפני עצמה שאומרת - הפוך, ואל תלך בדרך הזו. למה? אנחנו מקבלים החלטות, אבל שוכחים שאלוהים יכול לבוא אחרי ההחלטות שלנו, ולקבל החלטה אחרת. אנחנו לומדים זאת מסיפורו של המן ושנאתו כלפי עם אלוהים. המן קיבל את ההחלטה להשמיד את כל עם אלוהים, ולזמן מה נראה היה שאלוהים ייתן להחלטתו לעבור. אולם, לפתע... היה מהפך בשמים. והחלטתו של המן הובילה לצער האל בחייו. לכן, עלינו לשקול היום, מי הם עם אלוהים? והיכן הם נמצאים? אהובים, הם נמצאים בכל מקום, לכן עלינו להתפלל בנוגע לדרכינו!
Haman’s decision seemed right in his eyes, but he didn’t ponder that someone God loved was in the group. He didn’t consider the prayers of the righteous avails much, and he discounted the love of God for the little ones. For Jesus said in Matthew 18:6, “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” So, the question is: Who are the little ones to God? Beloveds, that we don’t know for His thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are higher than our ways. Isaiah 59:7 warns us to watch where our feet are going because what appears to be a good path can be a path of wasting and destruction. He says of someone,
“Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.”
החלטתו של המן נראתה נכונה בעיניו, אך הוא לא התחשב בכך שמישהו שאלוהים אהב נמצא בקבוצה. הוא לא ראה בתפילות הצדיקים יתרון רב, והוא זלזל באהבת אלוהים לקטנים. שכן ישוע אמר במתי י"ח 6: "אבל מי שיכשיל אחד מהקטנים האלה המאמינים בי, טוב לו שיתלה אבן ריחיים על צוארו ויטבע במעמקי הים". אז השאלה היא: מי הם הקטנים בעיני אלוהים? אהובים, איננו יודעים זאת כי מחשבותיו אינן מחשבותינו, ודרכיו גבוהות מדרכינו. ישעיהו נט 7 מזהיר אותנו לשים לב לאן רגלינו הולכות, כי מה שנראה כדרך טובה יכול להיות דרך של בזבוז והרס. הוא אומר על מישהו, "רגליהם רצות לרעה, ודם נקי ימהרו; מחשבותיהם מחשבות עוון; בזבוז והרס בנתיבותיהם".
Beloved, we have done too much good for our good to end up in a whirlwind of God’s woe. Haman had worked hard to achieve the position God gave him and he deserved that position of honor. However, his heart became lifted up to his own hurt. And his days of winning quickly turned to a day of woe for him and his family because he failed to know the paths of God’s danger zones marked by His woes. In Jesus name, I pray we remember the path of Haman.
אהובים, עשינו יותר מדי טוב לטובתנו מכדי שנגיע למערבולת של יגון אלוהים. המן עבד קשה כדי להשיג את התפקיד שאלוהים נתן לו והוא ראוי למעמד הכבוד הזה. אולם, ליבו התרומם לצערו. וימי ניצחונו הפכו במהרה ליום של צער עבורו ועבור משפחתו משום שלא הכיר את נתיבי אזורי הסכנה של אלוהים המסומנים על ידי יגונותיו. בשם ישוע, אני מתפלל שנזכור את דרכו של המן.
Prayer:
Father, as we go in and out let our hearts not be uplifted up in ourselves and the power we hold today. Let us carefully consider that You are a God who will lift very high, but You are also a God who will bring down very low. Lord, forgive where our hearts have been lifted up in pride, and we have forgotten it was You who raised us from the low estate to this high estate we find ourselves living in today. Forgive us, oh Lord. And if we are on our path, a path of destruction-Lord, remember the righteous. In destruction and wasting-remember those who call upon Your name. I pray You find humility in our leaders and when they pray for a way out-Lord, hear and deposit Your wisdom. Be merciful even to our mistakes, and when we cry out to You-Lord hear our voice; Hear our cries. And Father, remember the labor of those who labor for Your Name’s sake. O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for Thine own sake, O my God: for Thy city and Thy people are called by Thy name. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Habakkuk 1:1-11
1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it.
3 Why does thou show me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.
4 Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore, wrong judgment proceeds.
5 Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.
6 For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwelling places that are not theirs.
7 They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.
8 Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hastes to eat.
9 They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
10 And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
11 Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.
חבקוק א':1-11 1 אעמדי על משמרתי ואשימני על המגדל ואצפה לראות מה יאמר אלי ומה אענה בגערתי. 2 ויען יהוה אותי ויאמר כתב את החזון וכתבת על לוחות למען ירוץ הקורא. 3 למה תראה אותי עוולה ותראה ריצה כי שוד וחמס לפניי ויש מקימי ריב ומריבה. 4 לכן רפה התורה והמשפט לא יצא לעולם כי סביב צדיקים יסובב רשע לכן יצא משפט עוול. 5 הביטו בגויים והביטו והתפלאו כי אעשה מעשה בימיכם אשר לא תאמינו אם יספר לכם. 6 כי הנה אני מקים את כשדים את הגוי המר והמהר אשר יצעד ברחבי הארץ לרשת את המושבות אשר לא להם. 7 נוראים ומפחידים הם, מעצמם יבואו משפטם וכבודו. 8 סוסיהם מהירים מנמרים, ואכזריים מזאבים ערבים, ופרשיו יתפשטו, ופרשיו יבאו ממרחקים, כנשר הממהר לאכול יעופו. 9 כולם באו לחמס, פניהם כרוח קדים יתנשאו, וכחול אספו שבויים. 10 ולעו למלכים, ושרים יהיו להם לבוז, לכל מבצר ילעגו, כי עפר יקחו, 11 אז תשנה דעתו, והוא יעבור, ויפגע, ויחשב את כוחו הזה לאלוהיו.
We must always remember that as we make our plans, the Lord God has already made His plans. We can say-we will do this, and this will be our accomplishment, but consider the Lord and forget not He rules in the kingdoms of men. For He speaks of a people He says is a bitter and hasty nation. They march through the land, and they take dwelling places that are not theirs.
The Lord God says consider, “I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.”
עלינו תמיד לזכור שכאשר אנו מתכננים את תוכניותינו, יהוה אלוהים כבר עשה את תוכניותיו. אנו יכולים לומר - נעשה זאת, וזה יהיה הישגנו, אך חשבו על יהוה ואל תשכחו שהוא שולט בממלכות האדם. כי הוא מדבר על עם שהוא אומר שהוא גוי מר ונמהר. הם צועדים בארץ, וישבו במקומות שאינם שלהם. יהוה אלוהים אומר חשבו, "אעשה מעשה בימיכם, אשר לא תאמינו, גם אם יסופר לכם".
This bitter and hasty nation who is terrible and dreadful their judgment and dignity shall proceed them. Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and more fierce than the evening wolves. The Lord God says consider, “I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.”
הגוי המר והמהר הזה, הנורא והנורא, משפטו וכבודו ילכו אחריו. גם סוסיו מהירים מנמרים, ואכזריים מזאבי ערב. ובאו, פרשיו יתפשטו, ופרשיו יבואו ממרחקים. יעופו כנשר הממהר לאכול. אלוהים אומר, ראו, "אעשה מעשה בימיכם, אשר לא תאמינו, גם אם יספר לכם".
They come not for peace, but they shall come for all violence. But then God says something that is rare. He says, “Then shall his mind change and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god. The question should be-how did his mind change? For Daniel 5:20 says, “But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him.”

The greatest danger to a mind is a mind hardened in pride. For when a mind is hardened with pride, God begins to depose things He has given us. Thus, is this changing of the mind for the good or worse? Is it a mind who denounces pride and lifts up the God of Heaven? Or is it a mind hardened by pride which provokes God to make His decision. The Lord God says consider, “I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.”

Prayer:
Father, You are the Lord and we sit at your feet. We praise you for who You are and what You have been in our lives. Father, give us a mind that is stayed on pleasing you and not destruction. Let us seek peace with all men and let our mind be in humility unto You all the days of our lives. Lord, let us not think more highly of ourselves than we should and let us not fall a victim to pride. For You are a God who will hold us accountable for our deeds on the earth rather they be good or evil. Lord, let us love the You, our God, with all our heart, soul, and mind knowing You hold the power of peace and judgment over all. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

2 I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me.
3 How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.
4 I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace:
5 I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.
9 O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.
10 Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great.
11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth:
12 The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.
1 נבוכדנצר המלך, אל כל העמים, האומות והלשונות, היושבים בכל הארץ: יהי לכם שלום רב. 2 חשבתי לטוב להראות את האותות והמופתים אשר עשה לי האל העליון. 3 מה גדולים אותותיו, ומה אדירים מופתיו! מלכותו ממלכה עולם, ושלטונו מדור לדור. 4 אני נבוכדנצר שקט בביתי, ופרחתי בארמיני. 5 חלום ראיתי והפחיד אותי, ומחשבות על מיטתי וחזונות ראשי הבעידו אותי. 9 בלטשאצר רב החרטומים, כי ידעתי כי רוח אלהי הקדושים בך, וסוד לא מטריד אותך, הגיד לי את חזונות חלומי אשר ראיתי ואת פשרם. 10 כה היו חזונות ראשי במיטתי: ראיתי, והנה עץ בתוך הארץ, וגובהו גדול. יא העץ גדל וחזק, וגבהו הגיע עד השמים, ועד קצה כל הארץ נראה. יב עליו היו יפים, ופריו רב, ובו מזון לכל, חיות השדה צללו תחתיו, ועוף השמים ישכנו בענפיו, וכל בשר ניזון ממנו.
13 I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;
14 He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches:
15 Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth:
16 Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.
17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

19 Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.
20 The tree that thou sawest, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached unto the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the earth;
21 Whose leaves were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation:
22 It is thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth.

People Can Deceive Your Understanding אנשים יכולים לרמות את הבנתך

Proverbs 3:5-7
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
משלי ג':5-7 5 בטח אל ה' בכל לבבך ואל בינתך אל תישען. 6 בכל דרכיך דעהו והוא ישר אורתותיך. 7 אַל תִּהְיֶה חָכָם בעיניך, יראת ה' וסור מרע.
Another lesson we can learn from Jehoshaphat and Ahab is not to be so trusting of everyone who comes in our circle. The Word tells us of Ahab in 1 Kings 16:28 that "Ahab did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him." However, the Word says of Jehoshaphat that the Lord was with him.
לקח נוסף שאנו יכולים ללמוד מיהושפט ואחאב הוא לא לבטוח כל כך בכל מי שנמצא במעגל שלנו. דבר האל אומר לנו על אחאב במלכים א' ט"ז 28 כי "אחאב עשה את הרע בעיני ה' מכל אשר היו לפניו". עם זאת, דבר האל אומר על יהושפט שה' היה עמו.
As we conquer life, we will learn the enemy will be creative in the ways he searches out to move us out of the will of the Lord. If he can't do it one way, expect him to try another way with each way becoming more and more complex. For the enemy is crafty to place us in proximity or association with those who are evil before the Lord and some of those associations can be so personal, we let down our guard to trust in the person above trusting in the Lord. And this is a trap that by the time we discover the error, often it is too late to correct.
כשאנו כובשים את החיים, נלמד שהאויב יהיה יצירתי בדרכים בהן הוא מחפש כדי להוציא אותנו מרצון ה'. אם הוא לא יכול לעשות זאת בדרך אחת, צפו שהוא ינסה דרך אחרת, כאשר כל דרך הופכת מורכבת יותר ויותר. כי האויב ערמומי כדי להכניס אותנו לקרבה או לקשר עם אלה הרעים לפני ה', וחלק מהקשרים הללו יכולים להיות כה אישיים, שאנו מרפים את ערנותנו ונבטחים באדם מעל לבטוח בה'. וזו מלכודת שעד שאנו מגלים את הטעות, מאוחר מדי לתקן אותה.
Proverbs 3 warns that we can lean to our understanding and that is one way the devil sets out to trap us in his snare. This implies we can lean to think someone is righteous or correct, when God sees them as evil. We can think someone is for our good, when they are for our hurt. We can look at a person and what they do, or what they can give us, or trust in the associations that have been formed, and be far off from what God desires for our lives. And this is the situation that Jehoshaphat found himself in with Ahab. God had given Jehoshaphat peace, rest, and no war in his kingdom, but he leaned to his trust of man and their association and it brought a trouble in his life he didn't see coming or have before.
משלי ג' מזהיר שאנו יכולים להישען על הבנתנו וזוהי דרך אחת שבה השטן מנסה ללכוד אותנו במלכודת שלו. משמעות הדבר היא שאנו יכולים להישען ולחשוב שמישהו הוא צדיק או צודק, כאשר אלוהים רואה אותו כרשע. אנו יכולים לחשוב שמישהו הוא לטובתנו, כאשר הוא הוא לרעתנו. אנו יכולים להסתכל על אדם ועל מה שהוא עושה, או על מה שהוא יכול לתת לנו, או לבטוח בקשרים שנוצרו, ולהיות רחוקים ממה שאלוהים חפץ לחיינו. וזהו המצב בו מצא את עצמו יהושפט עם אחאב. אלוהים נתן ליהושפט שלום, מנוחה וללא מלחמה בממלכתו, אך הוא נשען על אמון באדם ובקשר, וזה הביא צרה בחייו שלא צפה באה או הייתה לה קודם לכן.
Beloveds, God forbid. People may appear to be good in our eyes, but what are they in the eyes of God? Again, trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. For it is better to trust in the Lord than put confidence in man for only God truly knows what is in each man that He has created. Let our prayer be, Oh Lord God-please lead and guide us that above all, we trust You to lead our way.
אהובים, אנשים אולי נראים טובים בעינינו, אבל מה הם בעיני אלוהים? שוב, בטח בה' בכל לבבך; ואל בינתך אל תישען. כי טוב לבטוח בה' מאשר לבטוח באדם, כי רק אלוהים יודע באמת מה נמצא בכל אדם אשר ברא. תפילתנו תהיה, הו אלוהים - אנא הנח אותנו והנח אותנו, כי מעל לכל, אנו בוטחים בך שתנחה את דרכנו.
Prayer:
Father, You made the eyes and You made our ears. In this era of great deception, Lord help us to discern what is true and what is deceitful. Heightened our awareness above what we see and hear, and give us Your sure Word. Help us to know deceptions, lies, and untruths that are traps to rob us of what You have provided for us as individuals and nations. Lord, we are all made from the dust of Your ground, so we need Your help. We have no capability to retain any wisdom if You remove wisdom from us. So Lord, look upon us for good, know our heart, and help us to stay on the path of Your blessing and prosperity. Give us good relationships and favor with God and man, and as much as it is possible-let us follow peace with all men. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

הזמן והעונה שלך לא בהכרח יהיו זמני והעונה שלי
2 Chronicles 17:5-10
5 Therefore the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honor in abundance.
6 And his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover he took away the high places and groves out of Judah.
2 Chronicles 18:1-4
1 Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honour in abundance, and joined affinity with Ahab.
2 And after certain years he went down to Ahab to Samaria. And Ahab killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and for the people that he had with him, and persuaded him to go up with him to Ramothgilead.
3 And Ahab king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat king of Judah, Wilt thou go with me to Ramothgilead? And he answered him, I am as thou art, and my people as thy people; and we will be with thee in the war.
4 And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.
דברי הימים ב' יז:5-10 5 וַיַּכְנַס יְהוָה אֶת־הַמְּלָכָה בְּיָדוֹ וַיָּבִיא כָּל־יְהוּדָה אֶת־יְהוֹשָׁפָט מַנְחָתוֹת וַיְהִי לוֹ עוֹשֶׁר וְכָבוֹד בְּרַב ה' וְהִסִּיר אֶת־הַבָּמוֹת וְאֵשֶׁר מִמִּיהוּדָה׃
דברי הימים ב' יח:1-4 1 ויהי ליהושפט עשר וכבוד רב, ויתחבר עם אחאב. 2 ומקץ שנים ירד אל אחאב שומרון. וישחט לו אחאב צאן ובקר לרב ולעם אשר עמו, וישתכנע אותו לעלות עמו רמת גלעד. 3 ויאמר אחאב מלך ישראל אל יהושפט מלך יהודה, הלכת עמי רמת גלעד? ויאמר לו, כאדם אתה, ועמי כעמך, ונהיה עמך במלחמה. 4 ויאמר יהושפט אל מלך ישראל, דרש נא בדבר יהוה היום.
In life, it could be someone else's time and season for something that it's not your time and season for. The Word says of Jehoshaphat, “And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim.” It also says the people were taught about the Lord in his days, and the fear of the LORD fell upon all the kingdoms that surrounded them that they made no war against Jehoshaphat.
בחיים, זה יכול להיות הזמן והעת של מישהו אחר למשהו שזה לא הזמן והעת שלך. הדבר אומר על יהושפט, "וה' היה עם יהושפט כי הלך בדרכי דוד אביו הראשונות ואל בעלים לא דרש". כמו כן נאמר כי העם למד את ה' בימיו, ופחד ה' נפל על כל הממלכות אשר סביבם ולא עשו מלחמה עם יהושפט.
Jehoshaphat was in a time and season of no war which was ordained by God. This is because he dedicated himself to the Lord and did things in the land that were pleasing to the eyes of God. However, Jehoshaphat moved himself out of the peace God gave him when he made an affinity with King Ahab. And that relationship and the persuasion of Ahab, moved Jehoshaphat from a season of no war to war.
יהושפט היה בתקופה ובתקופה שבה לא היה מלחמה, כפי שנקבע על ידי אלוהים. זאת משום שהקדיש את עצמו לה' ועשה דברים בארץ שהיו רצויים בעיני אלוהים. אולם, יהושפט הרחיק את עצמו מהשלום שנתן לו אלוהים כאשר כרת ברית עם המלך אחאב. ומערכת יחסים זו ושכנועו של אחאב העבירו את יהושפט מתקופה שבה לא היה מלחמה למלחמה.
Beloveds, we can make choices that go against the time and the season God has given us, so this is why we must be prayerful and take our decisions to heart. And it seems God gave Jehoshaphat unrest about the situation being presented by Ahab because he spoke to him about getting a Word from the Lord before they proceeded to go to war. For Jehoshaphat was familiar with Ahab, but he didn't really know Ahab. Jehoshaphat didn't know that Ahab was surrounded by false prophets speaking into his ear, and it seems he didn't know Ahab was not as committed to God as he thought.
אהובים, אנו יכולים לעשות בחירות שסותרות את הזמן והעונה שאלוהים נתן לנו, ולכן עלינו להתפלל ולקחת את החלטותינו ללב. ונראה שאלוהים גרם ליהושפט אי שקט בנוגע למצב שהציג אחאב, משום שדיבר איתו על קבלת דבר מה' לפני שיצאו למלחמה. כי יהושפט הכיר את אחאב, אך לא באמת הכיר את אחאב. יהושפט לא ידע שאחאב מוקף בנביאי שקר שדיברו באוזנו, ונראה שהוא לא ידע שאחאב לא היה מחויב לאלוהים כפי שחשב.
Life is fragile and certain decisions can dismantle the peace and prosperity the Lord has given us. That is why God provides these very specific instructions in Proverbs 3. He says in Proverbs 3, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.”
החיים שבירים והחלטות מסוימות עלולות לפרק את השלום והשגשוג שה' נתן לנו. זו הסיבה שאלוהים מספק את ההוראות הספציפיות הללו במשלי ג'. הוא אומר במשלי ג': "בטח בה' בכל לבבך, ואל בינתך אל תישען. בכל דרכיך דעהו, והוא ישר אורתותיך. אַל תִּהְיֶה חָכָם בעיניך; יראת ה', וסור מרע".
In Jesus name, let us allow Him to direct all our paths so whatever time and season that is our portion will remain in Jesus name.

Prayer:
Thy mercy, O Lord is in the heavens and Thy faithfulness reaches unto the clouds. How excellent is Thy lovingkindness, let us place our trust in You above what our understanding is telling us. Father, if we have moved from the time and season You have given us, release Your wisdom, knowledge, and truth and help us return to the path of Your light. Forgive us for all the ways that not pleasing to You and Lord let us not be evil in Your sight, but those who do good. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
תפילה: חסדך, ה', בשמים ונאמנותך עד העננים. כמה גדולה חסדך, הבה נשים בך את בטחוננו מעל למה שהבנתנו אומרת לנו. אבא, אם זזנו מהזמן והעונת שנתת לנו, שחרר את חוכמתך, ידיעתך ואמתך ועזור לנו לשוב אל דרך אורך. סלח לנו על כל הדרכים שאינן רצויות בעיניך, וה', אל נהיה רעים בעיניך, אלא עושי הטוב. בשם ישוע אנו מתפללים, אמן.
